Going Hawaiian...southern style

I made a southern style spread for our good friends, Tama, Gailyn Bopp, and family. The biscuits and sausage gravy was a big hit, with the cheesy grits coming in a close second.

It was fun to experience the South through the eyes and stomachs of my friends.

Gailyn topped off the evening by getting coco puffs from Liliha, a famous island bakery that has been around for generations. It was a little puff of chocolate heaven.
